Every drum part is scored against hand-checked ground truth on songs the model has never seen. This is how the transcription engine currently performs.
Scores are F1 measurements on held-out songs, with a note counted as correct when it lands within ± 100 ms of the real hit. Kick and snare — the backbone of every groove — are detected most reliably, while individual toms remain the toughest part of the kit to separate.
Not a toy beat tracker. DrumDash listens to the actual recording — drums, bass, guitars and all — and pulls the kit out of the mix.
Import an MP3, WAV, OGG, or MIDI file and get a full drum chart before your coffee gets cold. No manual note entry, no waiting on a render farm.
Kick, snare, hi-hat, ride, crash, plus high, mid and floor toms — each with its own detection model tuned to its sound.
One transcription becomes Easy, Normal, Hard, and Expert charts, so the same song grows with you instead of getting stale.
Transcription happens locally. Your music library never leaves your machine, and everything keeps working offline.
DrumDash reads your transcription two ways: a note highway for pure gameplay, and real drum notation for drummers who want to see the music.
Hi-hat, snare, kick and toms written on a proper staff that scrolls along with the song, with a playback cursor marking exactly where you are.
Prefer falling notes? Switch to the classic highway view any time and play exactly the same chart.
See what the beat looks like on paper while you perform it, and carry that skill straight to an acoustic kit.
Flip between both views mid-session — your chart, difficulty and progress stay exactly the same.
Three steps from an audio file to a chart you can actually play.
Pick any track from your library — MP3, WAV, OGG, MIDI, or a Clone Hero or Paradiddle chart.
The engine separates the drums, tracks every hit, and labels each one by instrument, timing, and dynamics.
Choose your difficulty, switch to sheet music if you like, and start drumming. Your accuracy updates live.
