Our Story
DrumDash was created by Michael Tsikerdekis, a drummer and software developer who wanted a better way to practice drums at home. The idea was simple: take any song you love, import it into a game, and get a playable drum chart in seconds — complete with AI-generated difficulty levels that adapt to your skill.
What started as a personal project grew into a full platform used by drummers around the world. Today, DrumDash is published by Northshore Press LLC, a small independent company based in Washington, USA, dedicated to building tools that make music education accessible and fun.
Meet the Founder
Michael Tsikerdekis — Owner & Founder
Michael is a drummer, developer, and the creator of DrumDash. With a background in both music and software engineering, he built DrumDash to solve a problem he faced personally: wanting to practice drums along with real songs without spending hours transcribing charts by hand.
He oversees product development, writes technical articles for the DrumDash blog, and actively engages with the drumming community through Discord and YouTube.
